English Bay Beach is described as one of Canada's best urban beaches! It is located in the west end of Vancouver next to Stanley Park, and also hosts Vancouver's largest Events such as the Celebration of Light Fireworks and Festival and the Polar Bear Swim.

Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver, especially in the warm summer months. It is  located at the north edge of the Kitsilano neighbourhood, and the beach faces out onto English Bay. This renowned Shakespeare festival takes place outdoors in Kitsilano Beach every summer. Managed by artistic director Christopher Gaze, Bard on the Beach is the largest Shakespeare festival in Canada and incorporates performances as well as creative and cultural workshops.

Spanish Banks are a series of beaches located along the shores of English Bay in the West Point Grey neighbourhood, which is divided into three areas: East, West and Extension.
